Our Story

Thomas (TJ) Kelch, is the Owner and founder of Pride Property Management (PPM), and has been working in property management in the Rehoboth Beach area for over ten years. He boasts over 25 years of experience in customer service, general management & property management, and has used that to gain the trust and admiration of his community.

The former property manager of one of the oldest and last historic inns in downtown Rehoboth, Tom left behind an incredible legacy and rare success story.

He took a poorly rated, and mostly forgotten property, and totally turned it around. The well known property is now one the top rated place to stay in downtown RB and has held strong as #1 for the last decade, bringing in an unheard of hoard over 6,000 5-star reviews. His efforts put the B&B on the map for the first time in its 108 years of operation and left it as the most highly returned to location in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

As an entrepreneur, a lover of people, and a community activist, Tom's goal was to build something that provided him with new and exciting opportunities to help home owners in Rehoboth through his 5-star experience. By working with new clients, he could help other properties increase profits, ratings, and have a direct impact on the beautification, reputation, and economic growth of the greater Rehoboth beach area.

Tom (TJ) puts his whole heart into every property he manages and treats it like his own home. He focuses on all aspects of a property from landscape design, to amenities, cleanliness, website listings, and the feeling of warmth he believes should be felt the moment a client enters the door of their get-away.

For TJ, he values not only serving the guests, but also the property owners. His goal is to tend to their needs or concerns before they even knew they had them. This allows them to truly enjoy their home. His goal is to take all the stress of owning a rental or home, off your shoulders so you can finally relax and enjoy the beach home you worked so hard for.

Although he is a gay man, he named his business Pride for more reasons than this. He named it Pride because that is exactly what he takes in every property under his watch, and helps you to feel pride in your home as well.
